Summer-Fall 2007
The move to the Ottawa-Gatineau area was
successful. However, relocation took a lot
longer and required much more energy than I had
anticipated and during that time, life went on
as usual with visitors, family events in
northern Québec, trips to Toronto for family and
business, teaching Reiki including one student
at the Master/Teacher level, and much more. This
meant that some projects, such as finishing the Spanish
site, is still a work in progress.
I’m very happy to have relocated. Life in a
village-like atmosphere is lovely and just what
this Crone needs. It’s wonderful to have the
big city nearby when one is inclined towards
soaking in some larger cultural events.
Straddling the Ontario-Québec border means that
we get the best of both worlds. The St-Jean
Baptiste festivities on the weekend of June 24th,
as well as the Canada Day celebrations in Ottawa
on July 1st featured some of the best
of Canadian singers and performers, each event
ending with fantastic fireworks.
The Ottawa-Gatineau area is such a perfect mix
of bilingualism, too. It does my soul good to
be able to converse in both languages equally.
Although I’ve been here just a few months, it
really feels like home.
Plans for the coming months include finishing up
the translations as well as adding the names and
information of Canadian Reiki Centre associates
to this website.
I’m looking forward to the colourful Fall
display of nature in the Gatineau hills.
Blessèd be,
Ghislaine
